{"id":4781,"date":"2024-12-02T17:58:05","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T15:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/politistiko-ergastiri.org\/?p=4781"},"modified":"2025-02-20T22:14:22","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T20:14:22","slug":"learning-opportunities-in-erasmus-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/politistiko-ergastiri.org\/index.php\/learning-opportunities-in-erasmus-plus\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning opportunities in Erasmus Plus on Volunteering Management"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A focus on Volunteering Management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Change is the end result of all true learning.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><br><\/em><\/strong><em>Leo Buscalia<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We start from the belief, proven by more than 10 years of field experience, that&nbsp; offering opportunities for organizations to build capacity concerning Volunteer Management Skills is essential for a quality implementation of international volunteering projects (focused e.g. on the European Solidarity Corps Programme &#8211; ESC).&nbsp;Based on this &#8211; three long-term partner organizations (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ejbweimar.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EJBW- Weimar<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/politistiko-ergastiri.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Politistiko Ergastiri Ayion Omoloyioton-Lefkosia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.provobis.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro Vobis- Cluj-Napoca<\/a>) hereby propose to you a sequence of four trainings in 2024\/2025 focusing on different aspects in volunteer management and different target groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposed trainings are developed&nbsp; as a result of our&nbsp; common experience since 2015,&nbsp; from the era of European Voluntary Service (EVS) up to European Solidarity Program (ESC) and aim to achieve common ground and understanding on volunteer management issues, mentoring skills, professional development regarding&nbsp; youth workers key competences &#8211; based on the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers, creating a community of practice and peer support among the implementers of European Volunteering projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are offering youth workers, volunteering project coordinators, (support) staff of ESC hosting &amp; sending organisations, mentors (to be) of volunteers, facilitators actively involved in ESC &amp; other (international) volunteering projects and ex-volunteers the opportunity to join one or more of the following training activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>VOLU.M.Experience | 19.-25.10.2024 | Lefkosia (Cyprus)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Target group &amp; objectives of the event: EX (EVS\/ESC) volunteers who are still involved or potentially involved in the field of youth work &#8211; we aim to gather the experience and perspectives of former volunteers as&nbsp;participants in volunteering projects and define issues, content, topics related to volunteer management, so that future projects may rely on lessons learned from practice,&nbsp;for improved quality implementation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The application is open from 26<sup>th<\/sup> of July 2024 <strong>until 19<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong> of August 2024<\/strong> via the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/ohkzx5B7uvtoijmM9\"><strong>https:\/\/forms.gle\/ohkzx5B7uvtoijmM9<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are informed about the selection results after 26<sup>th<\/sup> of August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VOLU.M.E Diversity &amp; Inclusion | 19.-25.01.2025 | Weimar (Germany)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Target group of the event: representatives (coordinators, pedagogical staff, mentors, support-persons) from organisations that have experience in both EVS and ESC projects (at least 3 project implemented and finalised), aimed at developing common understanding and first steps on diversifying their hosting &amp; sending practices with a specific objective on making project more inclusive (for different target groups).
