Activity grid / Guidelines for quality project / Sharing tools and experiences | Can’t point out anything specifically – it all made sense | A bit more networking time because I feel that there was a very good opportunity for connecting with key people from various organizations | Contacts, knowledge |
Dixie cards, never heard about that | For me, all the content was relevant and interesting:) | I didn’t miss anything. | Everything |
I especially appreciated (and already am using it) the explanations about the emotions of the participtns, and the roles of the manager (before, during, after) and the tools/activities to do so. | I appeciate all of them. | I think that the training was quite comprehensive | I achieved new competencies, exchanged ideas and good practices and met amazing people from all over Europe. |
I really like the session about tools as this was something I was interested. It was great to see that some tools are pretty simple and can be recreated and adapted. | none, everything was interesting | Nothing | I feel it was mostly a wholesome feeling of connecting with others working in the field – knowing that there are sometimes same or similar struggles and it was great to hear and learn from other – made me reflect how we organise in our organisation and what could be improved. |
I really liked the presentation of the different tools which can be used in managing volunteers, as I got to know many new and interesting tools. Furthermore, I really liked the creative way of dealing with this difficult topic. Moreover, the reflection session were very important for me, as they gave me time to start processing what I’ve learnt. | None, everything was pertinent. | Nothing specific, everything was handed nicely | Networking, new methods and contacts |
Management of projects, different tools, new games and energizers | Nothing specific, everything played a role in the programme | Sometimes time. Some of the sessions were a bit short (the session with the tools could have had a bit more time OR more timely structured – I got very nicely stuck in one station, but that made me miss out on 3 others) | The fact that everyone gain something despite the difference of ages, backgrounds etc |
The part of the day where we shared tools and methods, this was a great learning opportunity for me as it got me engaged in conversations with other participants as well regarding tools/methods that they work with and why they work for them. This is something I joined this training for, so this is the knowledge that I wanted to bring back home. | The « inclusion » aspect, working with youth with less opportunities. | The feeling of not being alone in the thoughts/feelings that I was having when it came to my role. Something important for me that I will also take with me is the energy of the facilitators, as the cohesion between these three was so positive and cheerful that it made the training a lot more fun than I expected before arriving.
The sessions about tools, sessions about roles in projects and sessions for networking were interesting for me | A bit more networking time because I feel that there was a very good opportunity for connecting with key people from various organizations | The most important thing I take with me back home from the training is the importance of creating rooms where people can meet, network, exchange ideas and work together to find solutions to the challenges they face.
The tools and motivation cycle of the volunteer were 2 subjects very interesting because it helped understand more why they’re facing different stages, and how I can help them with it. | I think that the training was quite comprehensive | Tools for a better volunteers management
The tools used during the course are very useful in my youthwork but nevertheless this experience provided a very broad cultural perspective of Cyprus | Very good experience and atmosphere, many new contacts for future projects, regain energy , ideas of tools to use with volunteers and/or organisations, reminders on steps and tips to improve quality
Work in the groups, exchange with other participants, getting to know new methods, networking |
