Στο δρόμο για το σπίτι του συναντά μια κοπέλα\, και θα αγαπηθούν παράφορα. Κάποτε θα φτάσει στο σπίτι του\, αλλά δεν προφταίνει παρά να αγκαλιάσει τη μάνα του και να ξαναφύγει\, γιατί οι μέρες της άδειάς του τελείωσαν. Μια από τις πρώτες σοβιετικές ταινίες που ανέτρεψαν τα στερεότυπα του σοσιαλιστικού ρεαλισμού\, με τον πικρό ρομαντισμό της. \nΜια υπέροχη ταινία γεμάτη λυρικότητα και ρομαντισμό\, από τις καλύτερες σοβιετικές ταινίες εκείνης της περιόδου.
